What is all the hype around Tongkat Ali❓

I have been taking Tongkat Ali for the last 6 months (with a month of break in the middle) because I wanted to see what all the hype was about. I hear interesting things about improvements in testosterone, improving sex drive and body fat reduction. This all gets a ✔✔✔ from me. So what was the outcome?

Well, disclaimer – My nutrition remained constant, my training increased on average by one session a week but nothing else changed. So how did I fare? Well, I cannot say I felt any randier…..but, I did have increased levels of energy, lifted heavier and dropped from 13% body fat to 10%. I have now upped the dosage (still within allowable limits) and I will see what happens now. So….what is Tongkat Ali❓

Tongkat Ali is well known for raising testosterone production and improving sex drive. Whether you are working hard to increase or maintain muscle mass at the gym or have a sudden decrease in libido or sexual function, testosterone is most likely a consideration. A decrease or abnormally low amounts of testosterone could lead to a decrease in meeting your health goals. Testosterone naturally starts decreasing from the age of 25-30 and can have a 1-2% decrease every year! If at any point you start experiencing a reduced sex drive, loss of lean muscle mass, fatigue and weight gain (particularly around your abdominal area) you might start to question your testosterone levels.
