About JP

Business owners and busy professionals want to achieve success, but not at the cost of their health and wellbeing.

To be a true industry leader, to be the best mother, father, partner, colleague or friend you can be, it takes energy, drive and enthusiasm.

And if there’s anything my experiences have taught me, it’s that you need to invest in yourself professionally and personally in order to find your work-life success.

It’s why I’ve made it my mission to help people do just that—become the best and happiest versions of themselves!

My journey equipped me to help others.

Born in England as an only child to hard-working parents, at an early age I was diagnosed with Hyperactivity (ADHD). Eventually, I came to see this as an explanation for my hunger and drive to succeed.

We moved when I was five, and began a new life in South Australia. At school, I was a nightmare. I was one of the high achievers in my early years but never applied myself later. Just making it through my final year, I left and headed back to the UK to travel and do building work. I recall sitting in a drain on a site, pouring concrete in the rain and saying, “I cannot do this, I need to study.”

Fast forward several years—Accounting Diploma, Commerce Degree, and first wealth advisory role in 2004 back in Adelaide. After a stint in Melbourne, I returned to work for large corporate / investment banks in Adelaide. It was an opportunity many in my field were envious of. However, I felt like it wasn’t the right fit. So, in 2014 and two weeks before my wedding … I quit!

In 2014 I started Affinitas Capital, a wealth advisory firm.  A great team with great clients, I felt very fortunate. I started this business with no clients and no income but as I exited the business in December 2022 to embark on full-time coaching, it was generating an income of almost seven figures.

It was a wild professional journey, one that echoed my health journey.

My way of eating was terrible as a teenager. I ate whatever I wanted which in turn made me ill. I spent between the ages of 12 and 20 on various antibiotics, destroying my gut health to a point of nearly no return. Despite this, I remained active and began gym training when I was 15 years old.

In 2010, I began my research and experimentation with various nutrition hacks, eating styles, supplementation, training regimes and alternative therapies. I was determined to feel better and operate at a higher level. It’s something I’m thankful for as I’m now able to impart my knowledge to others.

What’s become clear to me over my years in finance and business, is the correlation between health and wellbeing and quality of life and success.

Today, I feel happier, more energetic, stronger and of clearer mind than I’ve ever felt. I’m a father of three beautiful children and a husband to a gorgeous and supportive wife, all of whom keep me grounded and remind me to ‘stop and smell the roses’.

I’ve found my work-life success, and now it’s my mission to help others find theirs.

To be successful means investing in yourself.

I’ll guide you on the journey to becoming the happiest, healthiest and best version of yourself.
