What is manifesting? Some may be familiar with this concept others may never have heard this term before. However, without realising it, it’s something that you potentially do each day.

Manifesting is a concept associated with the ‘law of attraction’, which suggests that you can attract positive experiences, people, or things into your life through focused intention and belief. To note, is this also applies to negative thoughts. You create a vision (an image) in your mind (positive or negative) and that vision or image becomes a reality. A very powerful tool. Science has shown that 60% of our thoughts are negative or dis-empowering so be conscious of your thoughts, re-frame and overlay a positive filter.

Here’s how you can start to use the powerful tool of manifesting to take your life in the direction you truly want:

  1. Set a clear intention: Start by defining what you want to manifest. Be specific about your desires or goals. It may be a new job, better health, a family goal or personal growth. The key is to be clear and precise about what you want to bring into your life.
  2. Visualise and feel it: Close your eyes and imagine yourself already in possession of what you desire. Visualise the details, imagine how it feels, and engage your senses to create a vivid mental picture of your desired outcome. The more you can immerse yourself in this visualisation and generate positive emotions associated with it, the better.
  3. Believe and have faith: Belief plays a crucial role in manifesting. You need to truly believe that what you desire is possible and that it is already on its way to you. Cultivate a sense of faith and trust in the process, even if you can’t see immediate evidence of it manifesting. Play the long game.
  4. Take inspired action: Manifesting is not solely about wishful thinking; it requires you to take action towards your goal. Pay attention to opportunities that come your way and take inspired action when you feel prompted to do so. Your actions align with your intentions and demonstrate your commitment to manifesting your desires.
  5. Practice gratitude: Expressing gratitude for what you have and what you believe is already on its way to you helps cultivate a positive mindset. Gratitude aligns your energy with abundance and opens you up to receiving more of what you desire.
  6. Release attachment and surrender: While it’s important to be focused on your desires, it’s equally important to release attachment to the outcome. Trust that the universe has a plan for you and surrender to the process. Let go of any feelings of desperation or neediness, as they can create resistance and hinder the manifestation process.

Remember, manifesting is not a magical solution to instantly fulfill your desires. It is a practice that combines intention, visualisation, belief, action, and gratitude. It can help you align your mindset and actions with your goals, increasing the likelihood of attracting positive outcomes into your life.
